Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of serious and catastrophic injury claims (including employers’ liability, travel-related, aviation, cruise, RTAs, clinical negligence, and public liability)
• Attend court hearings and conferences with experts or counsel
• Conduct legal research, draft documentation, and prepare cases for court proceedings
• Negotiate settlements and liaise with insurers, medical experts, and third parties
• Support clients through the claims process with clear, empathetic guidance

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor with 1–6 years PQE in serious injury claims (claimant or defendant)
• Travel litigation/cross-border claims experience desirable but not essential (training provided)
• Compassionate and empathetic approach
• Aptitude for business development and relationship building with professionals
