Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of a large construction project as the on-site senior leader. You will steer programme, budget, quality and risk to ensure safe, on-time completion and client satisfaction. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to maintain high standards and profitability. This is a high-profile on-site position with autonomy to direct the project team and influence key decisions. Responsibilities

• Own the successful delivery of the project, covering programme, commercial performance, quality and risk
• Lead and develop the project team, setting direction and fostering high performance
• Maintain strong client relationships as primary contact throughout delivery
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality compliance on site
• Drive programme and cost control, identify risks and opportunities to improve performance and profitability

Key requirements

• Proven PM or Senior Site Manager experience in a Tier 1 or similar contractor
• Experience leading projects as the number one on schemes 10m+
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, with cost/value management
• In-depth technical construction knowledge and delivery risk understanding
• Experience working under NEC forms of contract
• Excellent leadership, planning, and stakeholder management with a client focus
