Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will join a well-established London-based main contractor to lead commercial activities on diverse projects, with a focus on education sector work and framework tenders. You will support pre-construction through to live site delivery, collaborating with the commercial team and mentoring junior staff. The position combines office and site work across London and surrounding counties, handling tenders, procurement, and final accounts. Responsibilities

• Lead PCSA/2-stage tender processes
• Oversee procurement across subcontractors
• Price work, manage changes and variations
• Attend site meetings
• Engage with clients and CVRS (CVR reporting)
• Support delivery from preconstruction to final accounts

Key requirements

• 10 years of experience in construction quantity surveying with a main contractor
• Good communication skills
• Quantity Surveyor degree or working towards
• Ability to build strong relationships
