Overview

In this Construction Manager role, you will plan, coordinate and monitor high-spec commercial office construction projects, leading trades and MEP activities to ensure on-time delivery within cost constraints. You will collaborate with design, site teams and project managers to solve on-site issues and optimize production methods. Responsibilities

Manage trade contractors, including drawings, procurement, prefabrication and on-site performance
Oversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements and support Project Managers on on/off-site activities
Coordinate trades on site (build and MEP) and align with programme planning and production control
Resolve site issues, provide defect feedback to Project Managers and suggest process improvements
Understand design processes and collaborate with the design manager to facilitate production information within cost constraints

Key requirements

Construction-related qualification to HNC level
Member or working towards MCIOB/ICE desirable
Current Managers CSCS card and SMSTS
Strong leadership and communication skills
IT skills: MS Office/Outlook/Adobe/BIM
Experience as Construction Manager on similar size/type projects for a tier 1 main contractor
Experience managing multiple trade contractors including MEP
Previous experience in commercial office construction
