Associate Director - Security

In this role you will lead complex, multidisciplinary security projects across diverse sectors, delivering risk-informed security solutions. You will guide technical excellence and strategic leadership, mentoring colleagues and shaping client outcomes. You’ll drive security strategies, foster innovation, and strengthen relationships with clients and stakeholders. This opportunity lets you influence high-profile projects and contribute to the growth of the security consultancy within a global engineering and consulting firm. You will work across hybrid settings and travel UK-wide to support delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, multidisciplinary security projects across diverse sectors
• Oversee project resources, technical specifications, and quality assurance
• Provide trusted technical guidance to clients and colleagues
• Shape security strategies and drive technical innovation
• Mentor senior consultants and support professional development
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic partnerships
• Manage client engagement and translate requirements into clear security briefs

Key requirements

• substantial built environment security consultancy experience
• relevant degree (ideally) and chartered professional status
• strong technical reporting and stakeholder communication
• multidisciplinary project leadership skills
• sole UK national, eligible for UKSV SC clearance
• DV vetting willingness; existing clearance advantageous
