FP&A Senior Analyst - Cigna Healthcare

Overview

As a Finance Analyst at Cigna Global Individual Health, you will shape financial plans and robust forecasts to support expansion and strategic initiatives. You will translate financial drivers into actionable insights for senior leaders, aligning planning with actuarial insights. You will partner across IHDS, Claims, Actuarial, and Sales/Marketing to drive efficiency, accuracy, and informed decision-making. This is a high-impact role that blends analytics with storytelling through dashboards and presentations, enabling clear accountability and strategic direction.

Responsibilities

• Produce robust financial forecasts and support quarterly submissions and the annual operating plan
• Deep-dive into financial drivers and business metrics to influence decisions
• Manage stakeholder interactions across IHDS, Claims, Actuarial, and Sales/Marketing to drive efficiency and cost containment
• Oversee CIMS financial reporting and collaborate with local accounting teams for accurate information sharing
• Conduct entity analysis to provide insights for Board and ManCo meetings
• Create visual PowerPoint decks and dashboards for senior leadership interpretation
• Analyze GIH operational data and align outputs with business goals using financial/actuarial principles
• Provide timely analysis of business proposals across all GIH functions

Key requirements

• Four years or more of financial analysis or related experience
• Part Qualified or a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
• General knowledge of insurance products, procedures and systems
• Health insurance industry knowledge preferred
• Experience in a corporate/matrix environment essential
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Technical knowledge of financial services industry preferred
