Senior Product Manager — Billing and Accounting, Amazon Shipping

Overview

In this role, you lead the end-to-end billing and accounting product workstreams to support a scalable invoice-to-cash lifecycle. You will consolidate fragmented regional billing systems into a standardized flow, driving accurate, compliant financial outcomes. You’ll partner across operations, pricing, tax, accounting, and engineering to define crisp product requirements and deliver scalable billing experiences. This position sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and engineering, shaping how we bill, collect, and reconcile at scale. You help strengthen cash flow and reduce disputes while enabling rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of defined billing and accounting product workstreams within the charter, delivering accurate financial experiences tied to growth and control
• Write product narratives and requirements to define new capabilities and align across operations, pricing, accounting, tax, and engineering
• Balance near-term operational/compliance needs with long-term investment in a consolidated billing platform
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver billing and accounting capabilities into the platform and daily tools used by operations
• Make sequencing and scope tradeoffs to deliver impact incrementally while safeguarding live financial operations
• Define clear acceptance criteria for operational and accounting adoption
• Establish mechanisms for continuous visibility, baselining, and proactive risk identification
• Quantify impact on revenue assurance, cost to serve, and customer trust, and report results to leadership
• Build alignment across functions through data-driven narratives and stakeholder management
• Drive adoption of new capabilities across regions as systems consolidate

• Experience with end-to-end product delivery
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience as a product manager or owner
• Experience delivering billing, invoicing, payments, or other financial-systems products
