Overview

As a General Practitioner at Chase Cross Medical Centre, you will provide high-quality primary care to a diverse patient list. You’ll work within a collaborative team to deliver face-to-face consultations, manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate referrals when needed. Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face GP consultations to diagnose and manage illnesses
• Order diagnostic tests and issue safe, evidence-based prescriptions
• Refer patients to secondary care or community services when needed
• Collaborate with practice nurses, pharmacists, and admin staff
• Adhere to GMC standards, GMS contract requirements and local governance frameworks
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous medical records
• Engage in professional development, appraisal and revalidation processes
• Participate in Chronic Diseases Management and Quality and Outcomes Framework initiatives
• Support practice meetings and audit/clinical governance activities
• Opportunity to participate in undergraduate teaching if desired

Key requirements

• Qualified General Practitioner
• UK professional registration and GMC registration
• Current medical indemnity insurance
• DBS/CRB disclosure check
• DRB clearance and Hepatitis B immune status
• Evidence of vocational training completion
