Overview

As a Procurement Consultant focused on IT spend, you will lead IT procurement projects and advise clients on category management, cost optimisation, and best practices. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, shaping sourcing strategies and driving value across hardware, software, cloud services, and related IT services. You will collaborate with client teams and suppliers to deliver measurable outcomes and leverage procurement systems to manage sourcing events and performance. Responsibilities

• Lead IT procurement projects, including category management and cost optimisation
• Provide client advisory support on best practices as a Subject Matter Expert in IT procurement
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and suppliers to achieve target outcomes
• Offer insights based on procurement best practices and market trends
• Utilise procurement systems to manage sourcing events, reporting, and supplier performance

Key requirements

• 3+ years in a procurement consulting environment delivering client engagements
• Proven experience leading complex end-to-end procurement initiatives in a consulting context
• Broad experience advising on IT procurement spend (software licensing, hardware/infrastructure, cloud, telecoms, IT professional services, cybersecurity)
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate with senior leadership
• Hands-on experience with procurement systems and category management frameworks
