Clinical Lead Dudley ECMHT Older Adults

Overview

Clinical Lead for the Dudley Older Adult Community Mental Health Team drives evidence-based mental health care for older adults with complex needs, including dementia. You collaborate with the Team Manager and other leaders to provide clinical direction and supervise multidisciplinary staff. You shape service delivery, oversee care coordination, and ensure integrated pathways with primary care and partner agencies. You lead audits, oversee performance and contribute to PSIRF learning outcomes. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to improve patient outcomes in a supportive, multidisciplinary NHS setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership to maintain high standards of care
• Identify required skill mix for staff recruitment
• Audit case notes and care plans against approved tools
• Plan, deliver and evaluate interventions for complex issues
• Support learning outcomes as part of the PSIRF process
• Provide specialist knowledge and advice to team and partner agencies
• Undertake Care Co-ordination/Key Worker responsibilities for a reduced caseload
• Support operational management in collaboration with Team Manager and Locality leadership

Key requirements

• NMC/RMN Qualification
• Clinical and operational managerial skills
• Ability to form positive working relationships with staff and other agencies
• Experience of working with Older Adults Mental Health
• Experience of undertaking Clinical Audits & understanding of Patient safety Agenda
