VP - Distribution & Credit Solutions – European Loan Sales

Overview

In this role you will build and manage a portfolio of loan investors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and drive the sell-down process for SG-led transactions. You will shape distribution strategies, provide market insights, and originate secondary trades to support SG’s primary and trading activities. You will work closely with Loan Traders and risk/compliance teams to ensure rigorous adherence to limits and procedures. This position offers exposure to diverse investor bases and a chance to influence capitalization activities within a leading European lender.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cover a defined group of bank/institutional investors in EMEA and maintain a loan investor portfolio
• Develop and implement marketing plans targeting investors
• Execute sell-down processes for SG-led transactions and circulate accurate syndication reports
• Input on structure, pricing, investor selection, and distribution strategy for loans
• Collaborate with Loan Traders to develop profitable trading strategies aligned with SG’s primary business model
• Ensure compliance with SG risk limits, conduct, and regulatory procedures
• Provide ad hoc support to seniors in producing marketing material, reporting, analysis, and regulatory processes

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of the Syndicated Loan Market and knowledge of Capital Markets products
• Experience in credit investment decisions, portfolio management, and credit analysis for insurance/pension funds
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Financial mathematical competency
• Languages including English
• Strong competency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience in credit analysis and legal documentation related to loan markets
• Ability to understand and manage risks (conduct, reputational, financial) and act in line with SG Values, Code of Conduct, and regulations
