Overview

As Construction Insurance Lawyer, you will defend high-value liability claims for construction professionals and advise insurers on policy coverage. You’ll work across pre- and post-litigation stages and support adjudication, arbitration, and risk management initiatives. You join a prominent City firm serving major PI insurers and large construction clients, contributing to complex dispute resolution and coverage advice. This role offers a path to shape outcomes in a high-stakes, industry-facing practice.

Responsibilities

• Defend high-value liability claims in construction-related professional indemnity matters (pre- and post-litigation)
• Advise on adjudication, disciplinary proceedings, arbitration and risk management
• Advise insurers on policy coverage aspects of claims
• Handle disputes involving engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, project managers, design-build contractors and surveyors

Key requirements

• Solid background in construction litigation
• Insurance experience desirable
