Overview

In this role you join the Coventry team to manage clinical negligence claims across misdiagnosis, surgical and birth-injury cases. You will handle new and existing matters, including litigated ones, and work with Barristers, medical experts, and other professionals. You’ll draft documents, value claims, and negotiate settlements, aiming to support clients with clear guidance and effective representation. This position offers a collaborative environment with minimal supervision and a focus on delivering quality outcomes. Responsibilities

• Deal with misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis, surgical negligence, birth injury, dental negligence, and delayed treatment claims
• Manage new and existing clinical negligence claims, including litigated matters
• Attend court hearings
• Liaise with Barristers, medical experts and other professionals
• Prepare and draft documents, briefs, instructions and schedules
• Value claims and conduct settlement negotiations
• Work within a team and handle caseload with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and external contacts
