Overview

In this role you will own and grow a portfolio of clients, coverholders and distribution partners, driving the placement and ongoing management of portfolio insurance solutions. You will lead the broking process end-to-end and build strong insurer and capacity provider relationships to support scalable facilities and delegated authority arrangements. You’ll shape opportunities for new facilities, programmes, and partnerships while aligning client underwriting strategies with capacity needs. This is a high-impact role with P&L ownership in a growing, entrepreneurial team focused on expanding portfolio solutions across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, coverholders and distribution partners across US jurisdictions
Structure, negotiate and place portfolio insurance solutions for clients and partners
Lead the broking process from opportunity to placement and ongoing portfolio management
Build strong relationships with insurers, MGAs, coverholders and capacity providers
Identify opportunities to develop new facilities, programmes and delegated authority arrangements
Collaborate with clients and coverholders to understand underwriting strategy and capacity requirements
Negotiate capacity arrangements and placement structures with insurer and reinsurer partners
Develop and grow existing client and market relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Take ownership of opportunities and contribute to new products, facilities and strategic partnerships
Maintain high standards of client service, governance and broking excellence throughout the placement process

Key requirements

6+ years’ experience within insurance broking
Strong experience in Portfolio Solutions, Delegated Authority, Facilities or Programme business
Experience working with a portfolio of clients, MGAs and/or coverholders
Strong exposure to business across US, UK or European jurisdictions
