In this role you will optimise the Elite 3E Practice Management System to support Day 2 finance transformation. You will act as the finance SME, partnering with IT and external consultants to deliver real-time insights and automated reporting. You’ll map and improve finance processes, embed efficiency in BAU, and drive continuous improvement across the function. You will report to the CFO with a dotted line to the IT Director, enabling cross-functional collaboration and business growth. This is a hands-on role with a strong impact on profitability and working capital, with remote work and occasional travel to Cardiff.

Responsibilities
Act as finance SME for 3E and other finance systems
Create and own finance process maps to drive continuous improvement
Oversee business intelligence design, improvements and production
Lead automation projects for management accounts, reporting packs and dashboards
Drive real-time insights and dashboards for better decision-making
Coordinate with Finance, IT and external consultants as the link between teams
Ensure data integrity and manage core financial data structures
Support Day 2 optimization and transformation of finance processes
Champion the PMS and finance systems as catalysts for change
Key requirements
Qualified accountant with experience implementing, running and optimising 3E PMS
Experience delivering finance system optimisation and BI/reporting enhancements
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to translate business needs into system/process improvements
