Duty Manager (Sales)

Overview

As Duty Manager at CitySport, you ensure the safe, smooth operation of the facility while supporting membership sales and outreach. You supervise operational staff and uphold high standards of customer service, health and safety, cleanliness, and facility presentation. You act as a key contact for customers, manage opening/closing duties, and support events and programmes. You will drive sales through tours, enquiries, lead generation, onboarding, and retention toward agreed targets. This role suits a customer-focused professional with leisure or sport experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of CitySport
• Supervise operational staff
• Maintain high standards of customer service, health and safety, cleanliness, and facility presentation
• Be the main point of contact for customers and escalations
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Support events and programmes
• Assist sales activities through tours, membership enquiries, lead generation, onboarding, and retention
• Work toward agreed sales targets

Key requirements

• Experience in leisure, sport, fitness or similar customer-facing environment
