Clearing Full Stack Developer

Overview

In this role you will help build a brand-new Asset Servicing platform as part of a large greenfield transformation in Financial Services. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions on modern front-end and backend stacks. The position combines frontend and backend work across Angular/React, TypeScript/Node.js, Java microservices and SQL, with hybrid London-based on-site requirements. You will shape architecture decisions and help migrate from legacy systems to new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver functionality across the full technology stack
• Build modern user interfaces using Angular, with React experience
• Work within a Micro Front End (MFE) architecture
• Develop Backend for Frontend (BFF) services using TypeScript and Node.js
• Design and develop backend services using Java and microservices
• Support migration from Java 8/11 towards Java 21/23
• Develop and integrate solutions using MS SQL Server
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Contribute to technical design, architecture decisions and engineering best practices
• Support replacement and migration away from existing legacy and vendor platforms

Key requirements

• Strong commercial Full Stack Development experience
• Angular development experience preferred; React acceptable
• Experience with Micro Front End architectures
• TypeScript / Node.js, in a BFF context
• Strong Java development experience (Java 8/11, with exposure to newer versions)
• Experience developing microservices-based applications
• Relational database experience (MS SQL Server)
• Experience on complex enterprise-scale applications
