Overview

In this role you will lead long- and short-term resource, recruitment and training plans to ensure a resilient operation. You’ll use data and forecasting to build robust plans weeks and months ahead and align with wider business and financial goals. You will collaborate across Operations Planning to improve processes, systems and ways of working, applying digital tools and AI-driven insights where relevant. This is a chance to shape planning for a high-volume, global operation and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine long- and short-term resource plans, recruitment and training plans
Create insight-led resource plans using data and forecasting tools
Identify risks and opportunities through data analysis and implement mitigations
Leverage digital tools, automation and AI-driven insights to improve planning accuracy
Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations Planning and aligned business areas
Contribute to Operations Planning strategy and drive process improvements
Maintain awareness of financial plans and ensure alignment with budget and forecast

Key requirements

Proven resource planning experience with strong analytical skills
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders
Comfort with planning systems, testing, and compliance with standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with ambiguity and competing priorities
Able to hold an airside pass (essential)
Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly
