Project Manager

Overview

As a Project Manager at QinetiQ, you will lead complex, strategic projects with internal and external stakeholders, including UK MOD, to deliver on time, cost, and quality. You’ll work from Fort Halstead or Shoeburyness, supporting growth through Follow-On Sales while reporting transparently to management and customers. The role combines regulated defence expertise with cross-site collaboration to advance test, evaluation, and training capabilities. Your impact spans delivering outputs that meet baselines and upholding security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction
• Pro-active stakeholder management and relationship building
• Support Follow-On Sales to drive growth
• Open, accurate and timely project reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver project outputs to baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)

Key requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a Project Management environment
• Experience in defence or aerospace preferred
• APM PMQ, Prince2
• Eligible for SC clearance (minimum)
