Head of Finance

Overview

As Head of Finance, you will lead financial planning, partnering with the business to drive sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with the CFO and senior leaders to provide insight, challenge and financial stewardship. You will shape budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, develop robust financial models, and drive improvements in reporting and processes. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on leadership of a high-performing team, delivering tangible impact across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
• Deliver meaningful financial insight and performance analysis
• Partner with operational and executive stakeholders across the business
• Develop financial models, business cases and investment appraisals
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, systems and processes
• Support strategic initiatives and organisational change programmes
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
• Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial thinking

Key requirements

• Qualified finance professional with ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent
• Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering or financial leadership roles
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
• Ability to influence, challenge and build relationships with senior stakeholders
• Proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Experience leading teams and driving positive change
• Passion for using financial insight to support better business decisions
