Senior Manager, Global Client Solutions & Strategy – Protection

Overview

In this role you will shape the future direction of the Protection business globally, working across strategy, client solutions and propositions. You will collaborate with regional teams and senior leadership to identify opportunities, develop new products, and drive strategic initiatives from concept to execution. The position blends commercial leadership with cross-market influence, acting as a bridge between markets to maximize globally leveraged ideas. This role offers high visibility and exposure to senior stakeholders, with a Chief of Staff–style element supporting strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess new markets, segments and commercial opportunities
• Lead development of new global products and propositions
• Shape Protection strategy across international markets
• Take strategic initiatives from concept through execution
• Collaborate with regional Client Solutions teams to share ideas across markets
• Support senior leadership with strategic priorities and initiatives
• Contribute to wider divisional strategy projects
• Prepare materials for senior discussions, client workshops and pitches
• Act as a link between markets to maximize global leverage of ideas
• Engage in Chief of Staff-like exposure to senior leadership and strategic objective delivery

Key requirements

• Background in life insurance or reinsurance, preferably with actuarial, pricing, client solutions or equivalent analytical experience
• Strong strategic and commercial thinking
• Understanding of life insurance and reinsurance landscape
• Ability to simplify complex information and focus on impactful insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management across geographies
• Ability to translate ideas into practical commercial initiatives
• Creativity and capability to think beyond traditional approaches
• Protection experience beneficial but not required
