Marketing Advisor - Brand Designer

Overview

In this role you will bring Morrisons’ visual identity to life across supermarkets and convenience stores, working with senior designers and cross-functional teams to produce high-quality in-store and print assets. You will help maintain brand guidelines and support creative projects, contributing to a cohesive customer experience. The position offers hands-on artworking, asset management, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to refine work for production. This is a chance to shape brand presence in-store and in communications, while growing your design skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain brand identity by applying guidelines, tone of voice, typography, and colour palettes
• Assist senior designers with creative projects
• Liaise with stakeholders across functions to gather information and manage expectations
• Incorporate feedback from designers and managers to refine work
• Organise creative assets, file management, archiving, and exporting for print/digital teams
• Artworking leaflets, in-store signage, press ads, and internal communications

Key requirements

• 1-2 years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
• Strong portfolio showing design, colour theory, typography, layout, and problem-solving
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and portfolio evidence
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
