Overview

In this role you drive new business in agentic development, GitHub and DevOps, helping customers modernize software engineering with AI-powered development and cloud-native practices. You will build and close opportunities, collaborating with partner ecosystems and technical specialists in a strategic growth area. You’ll expand conversations into Data & AI where it fits customer needs and engage CTOs, engineering leaders, and executives. This is a hands-on, impact-driven sales role in a global tech environment.

Responsibilities

Hunt, qualify, and win new business across agentic development, GitHub, DevOps and cloud services
Build pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner engagement, and targeted outreach
Own opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, and contract close
Identify customer challenges and develop compelling commercial propositions that address business outcomes
Expand conversations into Data & AI opportunities by collaborating with specialist teams
Build relationships with stakeholders from developers to CTOs and executives

Key requirements

Proven success winning new business within software engineering, application development, DevOps, cloud services or related tech markets
Commercial mindset with ability to lead negotiations and close complex opportunities
Experience building pipeline and creating opportunities without relying on established market demand
Understanding of GitHub, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, Copilot, and modern developer toolchains
Awareness of agentic development, platform engineering, developer productivity, and AI governance considerations
Ability to communicate business value effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders
