Overview

In this role you will support a busy rural GP dispensary to deliver efficient, friendly service. You will join a small team, handling dispensing and customer queries while collaborating with GPs, pharmacists and technicians. The position focuses on accurate dispensing, stock management and adherence to pharmacy regulations in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a close-knit team.

Responsibilities

• answer calls professionally and communicate clearly
• accurate dispensing of medications
• collaborate with GPs, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow
• manage stock and inventory levels
• address patient queries and prescription issues
• maintain a clean and organized work environment
• adhere to pharmacy regulations and guidelines

Key requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services
• Desirable: at least 1 year experience as a qualified dispenser
