Technical Project Manager - Capital Markets - Senior Associate

Overview

In this role you will lead complex technology projects within CIB Technology to drive business goals and deliver client value. You will align engineering, product, and business partners around scope, milestones, and governance, while managing risk and ambiguity. You will support data/AI/ML initiatives and ensure plans reflect data dependencies and controls. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to enable delivery with an Agile mindset and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end project plans with technical requirements, resources, dependencies, and timelines
• Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks, manage RAID items, and implement contingency plans
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define scope, milestones, and deliverables aligned to business goals
• Drive delivery governance with status reports, governance materials, and escalation of impediments
• Provide technical input for solution planning and coordinate with vendors and internal partners
• Support Agile delivery through ceremonies, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Use delivery metrics to assess performance and optimize execution
• Support AI/ML and data initiatives by coordinating stakeholders and clarifying requirements
• Synthesize complex information into clear problem statements, plans, and risk assessments
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate planning and risk synthesis while handling data securely

Key requirements

• Formal training or certification in technical program management concepts
• Experience delivering complex technology initiatives in fast-paced environments
• Ability to break down objectives into structured plans and measurable outcomes
• Proven leadership through project lifecycles and influencing decision-makers
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to build productive relationships
• Broad technical fluency and comfort collaborating with engineers/architects
• Agile delivery mindset with experience using Jira and related reporting
• Experience creating and interpreting delivery metrics and dashboards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for status updates and governance
• Experience with enterprise-authorized AI tools and responsible data handling
