Indirect Tax Technology Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead indirect tax transformation and VAT technology initiatives, leveraging data, automation, and analytics to streamline clients' tax processes. You will deliver data-driven automation solutions and manage project workstreams with client-facing stakeholders. You’ll mentor junior team members and contribute to business development. This is a client-facing role at a professional services firm, focusing on scalable tax technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead indirect tax transformation and VAT technology projects
• Apply data, automation and technology to improve tax processes
• Deliver data analytics and process automation solutions
• Manage client relationships and project workstreams
• Translate tax/business requirements into practical technology solutions
• Coach junior team members and support business development

Key requirements

• Strong Indirect Tax/VAT knowledge
• Experience in data analytics, automation or tax technology
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Python/Pandas or Power Automate
• Strong project management and client-facing skills
• Ability to translate business/tax requirements into technical solutions
• Consulting/professional services experience advantageous
