Reward Manager

Overview

In this Reward specialist role, you will lead end-to-end compensation and benefits initiatives to strengthen Costain’s total reward offering. You’ll own cyclical processes and drive change in collaboration with HR Business Partners and the People Experience & Reward team. You’ll shape communications, governance, and vendor management to align packages with market and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to influence reward strategy across a diverse business.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement end-to-end compensation and benefits programmes
• Line management and development of Total Reward Advisor
• Own reward processes including salary reviews, bonuses, and job grading
• Conduct regular salary and benefits benchmarking and surveying to align with market
• Partner with HR Business Partners to deliver services across the business
• Develop engaging Reward communications via multi-media channels
• Manage HRIS for Reward, compensation and benefits matters
• Support accurate reporting (e.g., Gender Pay Gap, REMCO)
• Ensure compliance with reward processes, data processing and security
• Contribute to selection and management of 3rd party suppliers (pension, healthcare, insurance)
• Develop and manage reward aspects of People policies for legislative compliance
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes
• Mentor others in the team and wider HR on reward issues

Key requirements

• solid technical rewards specialist with strong project management and engagement skills
