Customer Operations Executive - European Spanish Speaking

Overview

As a Customer Operations Executive in the Funding Team, you will manage the end-to-end customer journey from submission to funding. You’ll be the primary contact, coordinating with Sales, Underwriting and funding partners to move cases forward. You’ll review documents, chase sign-offs, and help refine processes based on feedback. This role offers hands-on experience in fintech and SME finance within a fast-growing, international environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable timely funding and positive customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a live pipeline of 50–60 submissions from submission to funding, tracking status and next steps
• Review incoming submissions, collect documents, and verify accuracy before forwarding to Underwriting
• Act as the main customer contact, keeping them informed and answering questions throughout the process
• Chase contracts to signed while addressing queries that could delay completion
• Coordinate with funding partners after contract signing to apply the agreed split and fund the customer
• Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting and Partner teams to keep cases moving and flag blockers early
• Share customer and partner feedback to improve processes

Key requirements

• Fluent English and one other language (Portuguese or Italian)
• Strong organisational skills to manage a high-volume, multi-stage pipeline
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing documentation
• Confident, proactive communicator able to chase customers and partners
• Interest in fintech, SME finance or financial services
• Organised, adaptable and eager to learn
