Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of premium, reserve, market, credit and operational risk
• Evaluate capital model assumptions, methodology and validation
• Perform diversification and dependency assessments
• Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Capital Principles
• Conduct annual capital reviews and major model changes
• Lead deep dives, governance reviews, and IMAP assessments
• Oversee new entrant reviews and market-wide thematic projects
• Present evidence-based conclusions and recommendations to senior governance forums
• Guide and mentor colleagues while shaping capital oversight approaches
• Build trusted relationships across Lloyd’s and the market

Key requirements

• Qualified actuary with significant capital modelling experience
• Strong non-life insurance expertise
• Knowledge of actuarial techniques and capital regulation
• Experience reviewing and challenging complex analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead work and support others
• Proficiency in Excel and SharePoint
