Director, SMB Revenue Realisation and Growth

Overview

As part of Visa Commercial Solutions, you drive growth for SMB clients by launching and scaling Visa card programmes. You will partner with cross-functional teams across Europe to deliver strategic support, market insights, and differentiated value. This role focuses on accelerating SMB revenue, deepening client relationships, and acting as a trusted strategic partner to banks, Fintechs, and software platforms. You’ll engage in client reviews, industry analysis, and practical initiatives that translate into measurable spend growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second level support to a defined group of existing SMB clients to launch and scale Visa card programmes
• Represent the SMB team at client reviews, track performance and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with Visa Consulting and Analytics to deliver optimal client support and drive new spend
• Conduct market research, mapping, and opportunity sizing to identify differentiated value
• Become a deep SME on the SMB segment, monitor industry trends, and advise on next-generation SMB payment solutions

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of SMB ecosystem including banks, FIs, software platforms and B2B payments providers
• Knowledge of SMB payment solutions such as virtual cards, AP/AR, and APIs
• Experience in relationship management, product/solutioning, or commercial roles serving SMB clients
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills with credibility across stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving, commercial judgement, self-direction and accountability
• Collaborative mindset with a track record of cross-functional work
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a matrix organisation
• Fluent English; additional European language advantageous
