Senior Architectural Technologist - WSP Architecture

Overview

In this role you will translate preliminary designs into buildable architectural solutions and coordinate multidisciplinary information. You’ll lead design teams, liaise with clients and contractors, and support the site delivery team to manage procurement, programming, and design queries. Responsibilities

• Provide technical design support and deliver projects aligned with client requirements
• Lead and coordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors
• Produce design deliverables and respond to technical queries
• Coordinate with Client and Contractor, attend and lead Design Team and Coordination Meetings
• Support contractors during construction and report project status to the Project Leader
• Manage design information, site inspections, condition surveys, and changes impacting fees or schedule
• Organize and supervise project teams and ensure timely delivery across all stages
• Oversee package procurement and programming in line with design deliverables

Key requirements

• HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology
• Eligible member of a professional institution (MCIAT or equivalent)
• Understanding of Building Regulations and related technical guidance
• Proficiency with REVIT and Navisworks for BIM Level 2 delivery
• Ability to obtain UK Security Check (SC)
