Overview

As a Generalist Building Surveyor in Savills London, you will deliver expert advisory services across landlord and occupier clients on a broad mix of commercial property instructions. You’ll combine technical due diligence and dilapidations with other professional building surveying services, supporting client decisions throughout the property lifecycle. You will manage client relationships and identify value-driven, commercially focused solutions. This role sits in a proactive team that collaborates across agency, investment and property management to meet asset management goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert surveying advice across commercial property instructions for landlord and occupier clients
• Perform technical due diligence and dilapidations work
• Deliver a broader range of professional building surveying services (contract administration, refurbishments, schedules of condition, party walls, licences for alterations)
• Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality, commercially focused surveying outputs
• Identify opportunities to add value through practical solutions aligned with clients' business objectives
• Collaborate with Savills’ agency, investment and property management teams to support asset management objectives
