Senior Professional, Valuation Advisory

Overview

As a Senior Surveyor in our Valuation & Risk Advisory team, you will lead valuation instructions for industrial and logistics assets across the Midlands, supporting loan security and strategic advisory. You will prepare formal valuation reports and build strong client relationships with institutions, funds, developers and private investors. You’ll collaborate with regional and national teams to share market insights and drive growth while mentoring junior staff. The role combines technical valuation expertise with market analysis to inform risk and investment decisions. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape asset strategies within a leading real estate services firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation instructions for industrial and logistics assets in Nottingham and the Midlands
• Prepare formal valuation reports for loan security, financial reporting, and acquisition advisory
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients including financial institutions and investors
• Collaborate with regional and national teams to share market insights and drive business development
• Analyse market trends, transaction data, and yield profiles to support risk advisory
• Mentor and support junior team members and APC candidates

Key requirements

• MRICS qualified and a RICS Registered Valuer
• Proven experience in commercial property valuation, with a focus on Industrial & Logistics
• Strong knowledge of the Midlands commercial property market especially East Midlands
• Strong analytical, report writing, and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client management
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for inspections
