Senior Account Executive, Financial Services

Overview

In this role you drive new logo growth for AlphaSense across London and EMEA, selling a GenAI market intelligence platform to financial services firms. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, and help shape regional growth and GTM strategy. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling value narratives and high-impact trials. This is a high-velocity, quota-driven position for an entrepreneurially minded seller who thrives on winning in a hyper-growth environment. You’ll join a mission-driven company that empowers professionals to make smarter decisions with AI-backed insights.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end new-business sales in the territory, targeting hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and research teams
• Drive net-new logo acquisition via rigorous prospecting, outreach, demos, trials, and negotiation
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
• Collaborate with Marketing to enhance regional brand presence and market penetration
• Partner with Product Specialists to deliver impactful trials and excellent client experiences
• Provide client and market insights to Product, Content, and Marketing to inform innovation and GTM strategy

Key requirements

• Proven SaaS sales track record to Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, and Investment Banks in UK, Ireland, and Europe
• History of exceeding new-business targets in high-volume, fast-paced B2B sales
• Skilled prospector capable of managing full sales cycle from cold outreach to close
• Strong relationship-builder influencing stakeholders across complex organizations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and articulate a clear value narrative
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed
