Delivery Lead

Overview

As Delivery Lead, you will drive technology transformation projects for UK health and public sector clients, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to turn requirements into practical solutions. You’ll manage delivery across the lifecycle using Agile or Waterfall, translate business needs into clear design docs, and communicate progress to stakeholders. You will mentor junior colleagues and strengthen client relationships while leveraging AI tools to support delivery. This role offers impact at scale within a client-focused consultancy and opportunities to shape public services through technology.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery across the technology lifecycle using Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver solutions that meet client needs
• Translate business requirements into actionable design documentation
• Communicate delivery progress and technical solutions to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge
• Lead or support colleagues, including junior team members
• Analyse data to inform system design and delivery decisions
• Use GenAI and agentic AI tools to support project and programme delivery
• Build collaborative relationships with clients and adapt to new technologies and delivery environments

Key requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in project or programme management, design, development or QA
• Practical experience of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery
• Experience collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders
• Some experience leading a team or supporting junior colleagues
• Strong communication, relationship management and problem-solving skills
• Experience with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel or Microsoft Project
• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or Amazon Q within project delivery
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into actionable documentation
