Overview

As part of J.P. Morgan’s Equity Derivatives Delta One Trading Funding Solutions team, you’ll develop Delta One and Equity Finance trading expertise while engaging with clients from day one. You will manage daily client operations, price complex derivative products, and explore hedging and trade ideas in equity financing markets. The role emphasizes collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will drive operational risk reduction and build tooling to support decision-making, enabling scalable client service.

Responsibilities

Execute and hedge secondary events linked to client trades with sales and clients
Actively manage the desk’s inventory
Identify trading opportunities in inter-dealer broker markets and optimize client trades
Develop workflow and analytical tools to automate processes and reduce operational risks
Process controls related to daily operations, including P&L estimates, equities inventory, and corporate actions follow-up
Develop knowledge of equity financing markets and generate hedging optimization ideas via quantitative and qualitative analysis

Key requirements

Advanced Python coding skills with application to data analysis and automation
Strong mathematical and/or economics background with understanding of equity derivative pricing principles
Prior experience in Delta One or Equity Finance trading
Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Client-facing mindset and eagerness to provide first-class service
Curiosity and passion for international finance, macroeconomics, and financial regulation
