Overview

As a Senior Recruiter at Microsoft, you partner with business leaders to forecast talent needs and shape data-driven hiring strategies. You’ll influence workforce planning across Corporate Functions and deliver a compelling candidate experience that attracts top talent. Your work combines strategic advisory, market intelligence, and hands-on recruiting to support Microsoft’s mission and growth. You’ll challenge conventional thinking to diversify talent pools and help leaders hire for long-term impact. Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and business leaders, shaping hiring strategies based on market dynamics
• Consult on current and future talent needs to influence workforce planning and decisions
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for competitive and emerging talent areas
• Attract and engage passive and active candidates through multiple channels and community engagement
• Design compelling narratives about Microsoft's mission, culture, and employee value proposition
• Guide candidates through all hiring stages and support offers, relocation, onboarding, and related milestones
• Conduct screening and assessment with structured evaluation frameworks to identify top talent
• Ensure recruiting policy compliance, maintain data accuracy in systems, and use analytics for continuous improvement
• Share best practices across the recruiting team to elevate recruitment excellence

Key requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, sourcing, or HR
• Systems thinking, influencing, and communication skills for strategic hiring discussions
