Contracts Manager for Clinical Supply Services

Overview

In this Contracts Manager role, you will partner with Business Development, Site Operations, and Legal across EMEA and APAC to drive profitable growth through sound contracting. You will lead negotiations and the execution of customer agreements, ensuring alignment with commercial aims and legal standards. You’ll assess contractual risk and propose language that protects the business while enabling timely deal closure. This position supports customer satisfaction and strong commercial relationships within Catalent’s global clinical supply network.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and execution of customer contracts to meet commercial goals and legal standards
• Act as lead negotiator on commercial terms with customers
• Assess and mitigate contract risks and propose protective language
• Ensure contract compliance with company priorities, legal and policies
• Maintain contract records and track status across the business
• Support process improvements and enhance customer experience
• Liaise with internal and external legal counsel as needed

Key requirements

• Proven experience negotiating contracts with senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of commercial contract terms in Europe and the US
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working directly with customers and managing contract discussions
• Understanding of customer onboarding process and its contractual implications
