Community Fundraising Ambassador - Western Northern Ireland

About The Role
If you're looking for a varied and flexible role which helps us to reach and support more people affected by dementia than ever before, look no further!
We are currently recruiting three Community Fundraising Ambassadors across the following areas:
1 x Strabane / Derry~Londonderry
2 x Omagh / Fermanagh
Volunteers should live within or close to these areas and be willing to support local fundraising activities.
You'll volunteer with our Fundraising teams to raise awareness in your local community and assist our supporters to raise funds. You'll help us to identify potential new supporters, to build brand awareness and to inspire people in your local area to know more about dementia. By being one of our Ambassadors, you'll put your passion for making a difference into action by engaging with our supporters in a variety of ways such as attending events or cheques presentations and helping with bucket collections.

You'll be great for the role if:
• You are passionate about making a difference in your local community and to the lives of people affected by dementia
• You have experience of or an interest in fundraising and raising awareness
• You have good communication skills and enjoy engaging with people
• You are self-motivated, organised and confident to volunteer independently
• You are over the age of 16
