As Technical Lead and People Manager for the Identity Engine team, you will steer LiveRamp’s first-party identity resolution platform. You’ll guide backend work, orchestration across GCP and AWS, and enable clients to build a first-party identity graph quickly. You’ll align engineering and product roadmaps, mentor engineers, and uphold quality at scale. This role blends leadership with hands-on technical work and a central strategic impact on identity infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Define technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Identity Engine
Lead a high-performing engineering team and foster excellence
Oversee data preparation, resolution, and export capabilities at scale
resolve cross-team issues and ensure timely delivery when dependencies exist
Engage in 12-month product planning and roadmap alignment with Product Management
Act as primary technical liaison for Product Management
Identify and hire strategic skills to boost the engineering organization
Maintain a significant IC component (~50% time) focusing on architecture and code quality reviews
Key requirements
2+ years of leadership experience with proven delivery as technical lead
8+ years of hands-on development experience, preferably Java or JVM languages
Experience driving complex designs, API/interface design, and architectural improvements across multiple teams
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to talent identification at Staff level or above
