Regional Manager - West Midlands

Overview

In this Regional Manager role, you’ll lead 30 Toolstation stores across the West Midlands, driving sales, standards and customer-centric service. You’ll shape trading propositions and omni-channel initiatives, while building a high-performing team and succession plans for long-term growth. You’ll partner across functions to improve processes, safety and stock integrity, and you’ll influence Trade/CRM uptake to grow the business. This is a high-impact, commercial leadership role in a fast-growing multi-channel retailer.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise performance across 30 stores in the West Midlands
• Drive customer retention and growth and implement sales initiatives
• Own the Trade/CRM proposition and penetrate trade customers
• Lead operational excellence including store processes, health & safety, security, stock integrity and shop floor/warehouse presentation
• Collaborate across Recruitment and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations
• Develop and coach teams, implement PDPs, and lay foundations for succession planning
• Champion diversity and inclusion and uphold core values
• Inspire and lead by example to foster engagement and high performance

Key requirements

• Multi-site management experience in retail (3+ years)
• P&L accountability and stock management experience
• Proven track record of building sales and performance
• Customer-focused approach with evidence of high NPS
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the business
• Adaptability and resilience under pressure
• Experience in recruitment and talent development
• Knowledge of health & safety, security and compliance
