SOx Controls Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape and embed a robust controls framework across the IT organisation to ensure effective, scalable and regulatorily aligned controls. You will partner with technology, audit and business functions to advise on SOx compliance and support major transformation programmes. You will manage control assessments, testing and remediation efforts, influencing governance and risk management across new initiatives. The position offers meaningful impact on governance, risk and compliance within a fast-moving tech environment, with opportunities to collaborate across teams and drive sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

• shape and embed IT controls framework across the IT organisation
• advise on SOx compliance with stakeholders across technology, audit and business functions
• manage control assessments and testing activities
• drive remediation plans and improve control frameworks
• identify and mitigate risk across new initiatives
• partner with cross-functional teams to embed governance and compliance

Key requirements

• Advanced SOx compliance experience, including Cloud ITGC SOx controls
• Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
• Technical auditing experience in a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, internal audit standards and risk assessment practices
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management skills
