Director/Senior Director, Strategic Solutions

Overview

In this role you will drive high-value AI use cases and roadmaps for global Fortune 1000 customers, aligning business goals with technical AI capabilities. You will lead strategic engagements to support digital transformation objectives and expand customer footprints. You’ll work across sales, engineering, products, and marketing to craft compelling offerings and drive executive-level conversations. A strong mix of technology fluency and deal-making skill is essential to shape enterprise AI solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Consult with global 1000 customers to structure and implement digital transformation strategies that translate into sales
• Build and manage strategic engagement plans with customers to achieve transformation goals and expand footprint
• Lead research and targeting of customer prospects and opportunities
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, products, and marketing to develop new product offerings
• Represent C3 AI in business development with alliance partners
• Engage in strategic account selling and ongoing customer success
• Travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time (or more)

Key requirements

• Degree in engineering, science, computer science, or related technical field of study
• Prior sales experience in SaaS/Product company and/or management consulting
• Strong network within large enterprises
• Experience with AI/ML is highly favorable
• Experience with generative AI tools such as Claude
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in consulting, defense, intelligence, manufacturing, supply chain, healthcare or energy is a plus
