Associate Director (Highways & Infrastructure)

Overview

In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary highways and infrastructure team to deliver value across major projects. You will work to integrate design, delivery and operation while upholding the firm’s mission of inclusive, sustainable design. You will shape solutions for public realm, drainage, utilities and planning processes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop multidisciplinary teams to hit KPIs
• Oversee operational management and implementation of cost-effective business systems
• Manage end-to-end project/programme delivery and process improvements
• Handle financial management including costing, pricing and forecasting
• Lead Resource Management across Civil Engineering infrastructure portfolios
• Develop and implement client-specific solutions across projects
• Drive business development and work winning for multi-disciplinary projects
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to negotiate and align expectations

Key requirements

• Chartered Civil Engineer with 15+ years of experience in Highways and Infrastructure projects
• Proven track record in delivering value through leadership, operational and strategic execution and stakeholder management
• Strong design capabilities in highways geometric design (DMRB), infrastructure and public realm, drainage and SuDS, earthworks, utilities planning and diversions, planning and technical approvals
