In this role you will own and optimize cross‑platform databases to support high‑quality trading and research services. You will collaborate with development, investment, and infra teams to design, deploy, and operate scalable, highly available databases. You’ll help automate and streamline database delivery across test, development and production environments. Responsibilities
Deliver database solutions across test, development, and production environments
Own full lifecycle management of databases
Administer Linux systems and configuration management
Manage local and network storage
Oversee cloud infrastructure
Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of systems and databases
Provide level 2/3 support and escalation management
Key requirements
5+ years PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server administration experience
Experience with high availability, backup and disaster recovery solutions
Knowledge of PL/PgSQL, triggers, stored procedure development and optimization
Experience with Linux and Windows systems administration
Experience with Python, Ruby or Perl
Understanding of source control concepts and SDLC
Full project lifecycle ownership from initiation to deployment
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related experience
