Overview

In this role you will act as business and risk owner to meet targets, taking 1LoD ownership of KYC/CDD and related risks for covered clients. You will build and grow a designated portfolio to boost profitability while controlling risk, and proactively develop client relationships and cross-sell opportunities. You will drive deal execution, risk assessments, and post-loan risk management in collaboration with Risk/C functions, contributing to portfolio quality and growth.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage KYC/CDD and risk controls for covered clients
• Grow and maintain a profitable client portfolio in designated area
• Develop relationships and provide business solutions to clients; negotiate terms and explore cross-sell opportunities
• Drive account planning and build a network of introducers in the business community
• Originate transactions and manage credit/KYC assessments ensuring compliance with branch policies
• Initiate credit proposals and perform risk management including enhanced due diligence and financial modelling
• Monitor market, regulatory, macroeconomic and political developments impacting loan portfolio
• Manage deal terms analysis, waivers, and deal administration
• Coordinate with middle/back office for timely data input and facility monitoring
• Maintain accurate exposure and client information in risk systems; develop post-loan risk framework
• Support supervision and development of junior staff
• Assist Department Head with ad-hoc tasks

Key requirements

• 5+ years in corporate banking or financial institutions client-facing roles
• proven ability to develop and manage client relationships and networks in banking
• knowledge of credit products, processes, and risk to support sound lending decisions
• strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in a diversified environment
