Overview

In this role you support a top-tier privacy and cyber group in London, delivering cross-border regulatory advice to multinational clients. You’ll work on data protection, cyber readiness, and digital regulatory topics, including AI and online safety, collaborating with colleagues across regions. You’ll lead advisory projects, help manage major cyber incidents, and contribute to client relationships and business development. The role combines regulatory expertise with practical, commercially-focused guidance in a fast-evolving tech regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory projects for multinational clients on data, cyber, and digital regulatory matters
• Draft and review privacy and data protection documentation and policies
• Advise on privacy, data protection, and cyber implications of AI deployments
• Contribute to strategy on online safety, Data Act, and AI regulation
• Coordinate international projects and advise on breach responses and regulatory engagements
• Support regulatory enforcement investigations and data transfer initiatives (e.g., Binding Corporate Rules)
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development

Key requirements

• 4–6 years PQE in privacy/cyber regulatory work (candidates outside range considered)
• Experience with GDPR, cross-border privacy programs, and international regulatory coordination
• Strong academic record
• Experience with data protection in technology outsourcing and complex contracts
