Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements
• Advising on technology, software licensing and SaaS arrangements
• Supporting clients on data protection and information governance matters, including data sharing and processing agreements
• Advising on commercialisation, licensing and collaboration arrangements
• Providing strategic advice to clients in regulated sectors (healthcare, life sciences, technology)
• Supporting privacy, information law and regulatory compliance matters
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while managing matters with increasing autonomy
• Playing an active role in business development, networking and profile-raising initiatives

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Experience handling commercial contracts and advisory matters
• Exposure to technology, data protection, IP or regulatory work advantageous
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet client deadlines
• Proactive approach to business development and networking
