Asbestos Consultant (P402/P403/P404)

Overview

In this role you will perform asbestos surveying and analysis to support safe building management. You join a UKAS-accredited team focused on high-quality service and staff development, working on management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, and monitoring tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues while managing projects and maintaining accurate records. The position offers potential to progress toward P405 certification and eventually into project management as the team grows.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
• Recording site data and compiling inspection and monitoring reports
• Updating asbestos registers and asbestos management plans
• Carrying out re-inspections and scope-of-works site visits
• Conducting 4-stage clearance and air monitoring duties
• Managing projects
• Attending scope-of-works site visits

Key requirements

• BOHS P402, P403, P404
• CDL and CCP qualification desirable
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures
• Methodical approach
• Minimum 6 months survey experience
• Full clean driving licence
• IT literate
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
