Senior Finance Manager- EMEA Financial Reporting

Overview

In this role you will lead the EMEA Financial Reporting function within a multi-country environment, owning close cycles, statutory reporting, and balance sheet governance. You will act as the in-region SME for reporting, audit delivery, and compliance, while driving finance transformation initiatives like Oracle Fusion, standardisation, and automation. You’ll partner with global and regional teams to ensure disciplined, scalable processes and high-quality reporting. This is a chance to shape regional controllership and contribute to strategic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the EMEA close timetable and deliver timely, accurate reporting (entity and consolidated)
• Maintain balance sheet governance with reconciliations and control reviews
• Lead EMEA statutory audit activity and liaise with external auditors
• Oversee audit plans, schedules, and statutory statements across EMEA
• Manage mixed audited/non-audited entities and in-country accounting partners
• Maintain regional controls framework and drive issue resolution and improvements
• Lead and develop a team of 8; act as senior in-region SME
• Contribute to Oracle Fusion implementation and post-go-live stabilization
• Drive process standardisation and identify automation/AI-enabled improvements
• Provide reporting-driven insight for performance discussions and ensure accurate reflection of complex transactions

Key requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
• Strong financial reporting and controllership experience in multi-entity international environment
• Proven ownership of statutory accounts, audit and close processes
• Knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS 102 and IFRS with exposure to local GAAPs
• Experience leading teams, including managing managers
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or finance transformation (Oracle Fusion desirable)
• Track record of process improvement, automation or technology-driven change
• Strong controls mindset in a matrixed multinational environment
